Dr. Flood is an American Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist
who completed her Reproductive Endocrinology Fellowship in 1988 at the
Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, Eastern
Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Following completion of her fellowship, Dr. Flood was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Reproductive Division of the Department of OB/GYN at the Jones Institute where she was the Director of the Primate In Vitro Fertilization Task Force. Dr. Flood received the Berlex Foundation Physician Scholar Award in 1989 for her novel work on oocyte maturation. She has pioneered many advanced operative endoscopic techniques for tubal reconstruction and fertility conservative surgery, which she has published and presented at meetings across the United States. Dr. Flood is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Fertility Society, Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, Society of Reproductive Surgeons and American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. | |
